AAA Parking area or Disney Transportation

We have the AAA Diamond Parking Pass and driving our own vehicle, staying at All Star Movies (during week of Thanksgiving). Would it be better to drive to parks and use parking pass or us the Disney bus system? Or drive some, ride some combo?

We have ADR's for 8:05 for AK, MK and Epcot on 3 of our 8 days -
We also want to be at rope drop on the other days.
We plan to go back to room after lunch and return in the evening.

I vote for taking your own car. We always rent a car when we are in Disney because we think it just makes things a little easier for us.

the AAA parking is right up front, behind the handicapped parking. Problem is, it goes quick, so you will have to be there early. We were able to park there quite a bit and its soooooo much better than the buses! Good luck!

Haven't I heard that at peak times like Thanksgiving, as the parks approach capacity, Disney initially closes the car parks but allows buses through and only later closes entrance to the parks completely.
