AAA Package Question

If I have a AAA room only reservation that I booked directly through CRO, can I convert it to a package and still keep the AAA discount on just the room portion of the package? A CM today told me that I can only do this through AAA. TIA for your responses. This board is awesome!!

I've been told that in order to book a AAA package (room, tickets, dining plan, etc), you must go through AAA. The only way you can book anything yourself and get the AAA discount would be to book a room only reservation. I don't know if you can hand over your reservation to AAA and let them handle the rest of it for you, or if they'd have to rebook for you. HTH

PP is correct. In order to book a package with the AAA rate on the room, you must book through a AAA travel agent. You can only book a room-only reservation using the AAA discount directly with Disney.
