AAA Package booking - hard to change it?

I called and after being put on hold and told 3 different things, they told me if I wanted to upgrade my 4-day ticket to 6-day that they would have to cancel the entire vacation and re-book it. They said there was no problem in doing that. I was wondering is that a AAA thing or a Disney thing? I would think it would be easy to simply change the ticket for the existing package.

I booked through AAA and was told I could 'upgrade' my tickets from 5 to 7 days when I get to the resort.

Haven't verified that yet..

To the original poster, keep your package just as it is. You can upgrade to any better/longer ticket once you arrive at your resort. Then you don't have to worry about it affecting your package now.
