AAA package, 6 nights $1559 - good deal?

Wow, the kids' first trip! And driving from MA! Now that's intense!

We are driving from SC, but I feel like that's no big deal. Honestly, the thing that's stressing me the most is that it's MY first trip to WDW, and if I get let down after 30 years of anticipation I think I will never get over it princess:

Please be aware that when you book a package through AAA, you do get some special perks that you normally don't get.

Check with your AAA agent to see what they are.

We have been to all the values except Sports. Here are my opinions. First, the price is the same as WDW and no you don't need Park Hoppers I think you are on the right track and know your own kids.
We like the Park Hoppers if the Park is to crowded it is nice to have an afternoon nap then out to another Park later.
Our favorite value is POP Century because you don't have to share the bus.
We really liked the layout of the ASMovies and ASSports but the ASMovie is the last bus pick up and mornings they do fill up.
We did not like ASMusic at all. We ended up in the furthest building back. If felt like we were walking forever after a long day at the parks. ( We love the refillable mugs and frequently would come back for an afternoon soda run and nap).

By the way none of the values have had the movies by the pool as far as I know. The only ones I have been to that have the crafts, activities and movies are the deluxes... OKW, SSR, AK

I booked a vacation package with an airline which has a 10% off until today. I don't know if that can help you because I am not sure if we can mention names. I got a good deal on my air, moderate hotel, tickets and free dining.

I am reading this post and I see that somebody mention that you can have dinner with characters or chef mickey with the dining plan. Can somebody explain more about this? This is my first time doing free dining.

By booking with AAA you also get the AAA Storytime which is WONDERFUL.

Never underestimate the value of a good Travel Agent. You'd be suprised how much they know, and you don't have to spend HOURS on the phone with WDW.

The price with AAA vs. online for the free dining is going to be identical. But, if something goes wrong...who are you going to call? Do you know their name? Just food for thought! :)

Whatever you do, you'll have a GREAT time! Enjoy it! :dance3:

HI -

I usually travel with neices and nephews (age range 1-18) what typically happens to us is we use EMH because the kids play HARD and take nice afternoon naps - so then we are wired to go at night - The times I have been there it has been worth it to do especially the later hours as most people with little kids go back to the hotel. This is where we have gotten some really great magical moments - riding Dumbo over and over, riding Spash Mountain/Big thunder mountain until I wanted to get off, spending more than just a few seconds with characters (around the Castle at midnight all the Fab 5 came out one night - it was AWESOME) - cookies and milk at the bakery,,,,,,ahhhhhhh - usually cooler too so the kids are happier - they dont have to stay in the stroller cause it isnt so croweded and they dance around with their glowsticks - truely, I LOVE night time in the parks!!!

A basic day for us would kinda be like this - wake up, breakfast, park, lunch, swim, bath, nap, dinner, park.,,,sometimes add in a morning shower!!!lol!! its just so much FUN!!!:thumbsup2
