Who knows, it wasn't blacked out for Thanksgiving but was for Christmas

For us, it worked out that the AP was a better discount.

AAA was about 15-20% depending on the season. With AP the room discount was slightly better--enough to cover the extra cost of the AP.

Plus, with the AP, you can purchase the Disney Dining Experience card.
