Can we join the American Automobile Association to get the discounts that the Americans qualify for.

Travelling to NY at Christmas and the Hotel is $600 cheaper to AAA members so would like to save the money and spend on shopping.

Don't know what offers are on just now but it was only £29 for basic cover a few weeks ago last time the subject was brought up.

Regarding AAA or AA-we don't drive-but what if an immediate family member are members of the AA-would we be entitled to any discounts-i don't even know what you can use it for but i hear so much about people using this.x.

as long as one person in party has an AA card,you are entitled to AAA discounts
Your allowed up to 3 rooms discounted,and upon checkin you can be asked to show card ,if they do and you havent got one they will charge full rate
To book AAA discount you have to phone usa disney and when they ask for card number you give them your AA card number

Nothing to stop you buying AA cover to get the discounts, only £29 for their cheapest option. If your are going to save more than £29 then its worth buying.

What you don't want is Vehicle Membership as you don't have one.

It costs £37.50 intead of £29.50 but you don't have to enter a car reg as you are buying cover for you not the car.
Other option is to buy the cheaper option and put in a relatives reg number.

Hotels the main reason people get it, probably not worth it now if you have everything done.

Places like Joe's Crab Shack (Landry's) you get 10%
Reebok Outlet Store 20% off
etc.

I have never bothered as the discounts are usually available with other coupons either online or in the booklets.
For AKL this August we used Annual pass to get discount better than AAA.

This will be very useful.... i completely forgot as an AA member i can get AAA rates on stuff!!! my only worry is pulling out my AA card and having the checkout person go "what the heck is that?" but I'm sure they're used to seeing them in florida!
