AAA in December?

I'm thinking of going to WDW in December and staying at POR the 7-14. Any idea on the AAA room only price. It's value season so is it 20% like mousesavers says? Seems to good to be true. Anyone able to give me an idea of what AAA discount they are getting in December?

That is correct.

Values and moderates get 20% off during value season
Deluxes get 15% off

Values and moderates get 15% off during regular and peak season
Deluxes get 10% off

No discounts during holiday season.

Take the rack rate (full price), multiply by .80 (for the values/moderates during value season), and that is your room rate per night. Then you can multiply by 1.115 to see the room night with tax.

I have a AAA discount ressie for PC for Nov. 26-Nov. 28, $81.17/night (preferred) and another AAA discount ressie for the Contemporary MK View for Nov. 28-Dec. 3 for $364.88/night. The PC ressie is discounted by 20%, the Contemporary ressie is discounted by 15%.

I'm very new to this but do you book this rates through disneyworld or someplace else? My other question is that can you get AAA rates and still do the Disney Dining Plan? We are planning to go Dec. 16-24. Thanks.

We're staying at Pop Dec 14-22 and our AAA rate for a preferred room is $81 a night(taxes included).

You can get a AAA rate on room only reservations through Disney. If you want a package though, you have to go through AAA, then you can still get the room part of your package discounted.

We are going 12/17-25 and were quoted $123.77 a nte ($990. total) with AAA discount for POR. We were origionally slated to go a week earlier and the price was the same. HTH.

We are at POR 11/27 through 12/4 and our AAA rate is also $123.77.

Looks like we'll be going Dec 16-23. DH might be getting a teaching position (finally!) so we have to go during his christmas break.

Airfare is climbing like crazy for the 23...hope he finds out soon.
