Do you have to get a pkg. to get free parking through AAA? Is it something you can show your card and get the discount/free pass?
Thanks.

No. You just need to buy the 2 or 3 day park hopper ticket to get free parking at the Mickey and Friends lot.

Hi, I just found this site and we are trying to plan a trip to DL in April. We have not purchased our tickets yet because we are trying to determine costs.

I was planning on purchasing the 3 of 4 day pass with the special pricing of everyone plays for the kids price. However, I wasn't even thinking about parking expenses.

Can someone tell me how much is parking typically? And is it worth buying the tickets through AAA to get the free parking in comparison to the discounts with current promotion offer?

Thank you!

Parking is $11. You can save on parking if you stay at a nearby hotel within walking distant or one with a free shuttle.

Thanks to everyone that responded to my post earlier.

I went to the AAA website and did not see they were offering Hopper tickets. I saw the Vacation Package Specials. We only need the tickets, but would like the free parking. Can someone tell me how you were able to buy the Hopper Tickets through them. And when you bought them, did they give you a special card to receive the free parking? Because from what I am understanding from this thread, it is not enough to just show your AAA card. Thanks again in advance!

The park hopper tickets are available for purchase at your local AAA office. Prices are listed on the website in the "Discounts" section, not under travel.

You can also buy them online and get free shipping. I needed a 4 day and apparently the offices don't carry 4 day hoppers, just 2, 3, & 5.

This is our first trip, and I was reading someone on this website some threads about AAA Diamond Parking. I am assuming this is for WDW?

And for DL, with the AAA parking voucher you get free parking at the Mickey and Friends Lot. Is this correct?

I am working really hard to plan this vacation for our family with 3 small preschool-kindergarden aged girls and want to get the facts down now.

I planned on going to AAA this morning to buy the 3 Day Hopper Tickets so I could get the parking voucher. Can someone tell me if I have to ask for the parking voucher or does it automatically come with the tickets?

Does anyone know if AAA sells the So. Calif. City Pass, and if they do, are they discounted, and if they are, do they come with the parking voucher? I am from WA State and on our AAA, the "Attractions" portion of the website is being updated, so I can not check for myself.

Thanks so much. I'll relax now. :)

My receipt just says I'll get AAA Free parking. Not sure where, and I'm referring to DL. I didn't check off a specific box for it or anything, it was on the screen after I had purchased the tickets so I'm assuming that it's an automatic thing when you get the hopper tickets from them.

As for the So. California City Pass, Costco (at least ours does here in AZ) sells it for less than AAA so you may want to check that out, although it doesn't include the free parking.

It is for the Mickey and Friends lot.

The park hopper ticket will show you have free parking. Just show the ticket to the CM at the parking booth.

We just bought our kids hoppers through aaa. The parkhopper itself says"INCLUDES ONE EARLY ENTRY Free parking at Mickey & Friends". I"m assuming we just show the parkhopper to the cm at the parking booth.

That's right. They're refering to the Diamond Lots at WDW. Those lots are reserved for members who have booked through AAA and are closer to the park entrances than most other lots. But unlike DL, the parking there is not free.
