I thought I saw this somewhere, does Fort give discounts for AAA? that would be cool:cool1:

Absolutely, if they don't have AAA rates available when making reservation keep trying right up until check-in.

AAA discounts are mostly available during "Value" Season. The AAA discount is 20% at that time. On occasion, you can also get a lesser discount of 10 or 15% during Regular season.
Be aware of the fact that some of the Reservationists do not know how to apply the discount and may simply tell you there are none available. So make sure you double check if the first one can't help you. Good luck and have fun.

I reserved our spot for this June last July and asked for AAA Discount, none available. About a month later I called back and did get the 10% applied to my resi.

thanks- good to know! I assume I'd have to call to reserve using this discount? straight to WDW or the AA office?:cool1:

I booked through my AAA agent and got 15% for our June stay. Good luck!

I was actually about to create a new thread asking about AAA discounts. We are looking into joining for a Disney discount. Seems if we can get at least 10% the discount will pay for our membership so can you experienced AAA members tell me typically what other discounts you use your membership for? Also traditionally are there AAA discounts for The Fort in November? We have roadside assistance covered through our vehicle warranty and insurance so we are looking into AAA soley for travel discounts. Thanks for any advice!

After reading all this I'm thinking of joining also! Do you get discounts on just your campsite cost, or also on park tickets if you get a package? Also- if Disney has a promo already going, do you have to choose between that or your AAA discount, or can you use both? Thanks!

You can only use 1 promo at a time. If you look on AAA.com you will see all the discounts you can get. We have had it for years, definitely pays for itself.

FYI... Earl of Sandwich has a 15 percent discount with AAA.

I did look on the site, but nothing for Disneyworld shows up for me?

Why does FW offer AAA discounts and no discounts for Good Sam, AP holders, and Florida residents?:confused3

I just booked through AAA. I went through them directly with no problem at all. I booked for 7 night in a premium campsite, in June. They are very helpful.

We always book with AAA. Most of the time we get a discount, but like the other posters said, it depends on availability.

One huge perk however, is getting a discount at Earl of Sandwich, Wolfgang Puck Express, among others at DTD!!! We save a bunch just on food and shopping! Pays for itself!

:thumbsup2
