Ok- I'm starting to think that I am overthinking our Disney trip, because I can't decide if I should book this or try to wait for something better.

We are going Sept 24 - Oct. 1 wanting to stay at POP, we want the dining plan and 7 day hopper. AAA quotes me at $1,903.50 WDW website quotes me at $2,033.14. So it appears to me I am saving $129.64. Two adults two children 7 & 2.

Does the AAA sound right? If I book this now and a better deal comes out next month am I stuck with this, would AAA be able to apply the better deal or would I have to cancel with them and re-book myself.

I think I am just having a hard time committing so much money. (we are going no matter what because air fare has been bought), I'm just a tight wad always want the cheapest way.:sad2:

Thanks for any input.

If a discount code comes out after you book your package you can call your agent and they will call disney and have it applied. I did this last year and had no problems.

Double check whether those rates include insurance. Disney will generally add the insurance to a package unless you tell them specifically not to. If you're comparing two packages, you want to make sure you're comparing the same things.

7 nights pop value season = about 646
Dining plan 7 nights for 2 adults 1 child (2 doesnt count) = 623
Tickets 7 day hopper 2 adults 1 child = 632
Insurance 119
Total 2020

AAA simply deducts a percentage of the cost of your room. In this case at a value resort in value season it is 20% so a savings of 129., bringing your total to 1891.

That looks pretty close to what you were quoted. As others said you should be able to update that to any new deals that come out. However, when you use any new code you are replacing your aaa discount with the new one, you wouldnt be adding any new discounts to the aaa one.

I like booking with aaa and if I knew that is when I wanted to travel, I'd probably go ahead and book it to secure atleast getting that discount. Make sure your aaa is willing to adjust your reservation should that happen. They all can do it but some just aren't as willing. You do not have to use your local aaa.

I have AAA and I'm not finding their discounts for the end of the year all that great. I've never booked through them, so their discounted packages may come out later in the summer.
