AAA & Disney Price not matching

I called AAA for a quote on Contemporary Magic Kingdom View for 1/28/06 - 1/31/06. THey quoted me $1009.38.

I called Disney and requested AAA rate for the same and They gave me the quote of $1094 Why is there so much difference in the price? I ask Disney if that included insurance and she said no.

I wanted to book on Disney so I could see my reservation online.

What to do??

Ummm... AAA gives you a discount on the room rate...

Yes but the AAA agent also said that was tax and I would think if I ask Disney for AAA rate then I would get the AAA discount on the room because it is room only. Disney also said the price included tax

Do you have 3 adults in your party?

Disney will charge $25 per night x 3 nights = $75 + tax = $84...

Your difference is $1094 - $1009.38 = $84.62 .....

Just because you book thru Disney doesn't mean you will be able to see your ressie online....

I was told yesterday by my CM that the Disney reservation, using the AAA discount would be available online in 24/48 hours. It is now available and it is less the 24 hours. You will need your reservation number and phone number. I wanted to know so I can add my airline info myself later on.

PS The AAA price online was the same as the one Disney quoted me so I think someone misquoted the rate.

These are rack rates, AAA is usually about 15% off a deluxe in value season according to mousesavers, this would lower these to

Tower Magic Kingdom View $1094.66
Tower Room $1009.39

Looks like AAA quoted you a Tower room and Disney quoted you the Magic Kingdom View....

Thanks MouseHouse789 I am sure that is what happen well I bit the bullet and put the deposit at Disney for the MK view at CR.

Thanks for everyone's replies. First time I have used AAA.

Also I can already see my reservation online with my res # and phone # and it has just been a few minutes.
