AAA Disney Month

I had called AAA just before the New Year. I received a quote significantly lower than going with Disney (even with the 4/3 deal). Prior to that I went to another local travel agency. They quoted me exactly the same as AAA and were able to book my flights without a handling fee (AAA charges one). Today I received a call back from AAA about my one week hold. She made no mention of better deals in January and no mention of a Disney night. Strange that she would not say something to try to get my attention. We booked with the other travel agency, but I know the deposit is technically with Disney and not them.

I book with AAA today...the price for our trip w/ AAA is $6305.73. I got a qoute from another travel company I hear about a lot on here...there qoute was $6532.91...not that big of a savings but still $227.10 and we do get the $25.00 gift card...that won't go far though with our family of 8!!:rotfl2: But any savings is better that none!!!

we booked last year through AAA during the January Disney month...there were no other deal going the week we were there, so we just got the standard 20% on the room portion (mod resort) but we booked 2 rooms with 2 reservation #'s so when we checked in, there was a $25 gift card for each room. And the local AAA incentive for the January Disney Days was a portable DVD player for the car...so was about $100 total incentive with the gift cards. We're already booked for 2009, so won't be doing that this time.
