AAA discounts

I just called and got AAA for room only ressies for Jan. 2005. The CM told me that they had just been released! I am thrilled. Now for the AP hunt!

WooHoo! I just got off the phone and was able to get the AAA discount for March 2005 at POFQ! I was paying $188.43 (peak season rack rate). With the AAA discount, it brought it down to $159.43 with tax. Not too bad. Hopefully when it gets closer, the AP rates will be release, but for now I'm glad I got some type of discount. More money for a nice dinner or two :bounce: :bounce: :teeth: :teeth:

I have a question.

We are going in Dec. It will be myself and my BF. He has a AAA card, I don't. I have been the one making the payments because our vacation account is in my name.

Can we use his AAA since he is listed as a person staying in the room?

Thanks,
Sheri

My card was expiring when I made the reservation. I asked if it would be okay to use my fiancée's card. They said absolutely.

You should be fine with his card.

As I found out, alot of the AAA rate rooms for 2004 are already sold out. It's a hit and miss-what I would do is ask for a regular rate and when you get what you want tell them you would like to know if the AAA discount can be applied-then you can make your decision because you will have both rates/all information.
