Does anyone know how much of a discount you receive through AAA? I'm not a member, but was thinking of joining if the savings is worth it. Thanks

I priced my package for January through AAA then on WDW website and the price was the same so I decided to go a step further.
I called Disney and inquired about AAA discount and was told that what I booked on-line reflected AAA discount. I don't see how that's possible since there is nothing on the WDW site that applies to AAA members.

You're right. They don't have AAA rates online. :)

Have to call CRO. Sometimes they require a AAA member number before they'll even quote the price. Sometimes they don't. Luck of the draw!

I may be wrong, but I don't believe you get any discount on packages thru AAA, only on room only reservations, which stated above is 10 to 20% based on the season and which level resort.

There is a discount on the room portion of packages when you book with AAA. You will still pay full price for your admission, but there is the admission on rooms when you book with AAA.

2005 AAA rates have not yet been released.
That would explain why there was no difference in price between AAA Travel an the WDW website.

I'm also waiting and wondering!!! I wonder why they are so late this year?? Does anyone have any new info on a release date?

Waiting too, I need it for Jan. 1, 2005. When I called a few weeks
ago they said check back in Nov. I said "you have to be kidding"
hopefully it will be by Sept. 1 at the lastest!

We are going Jan 1st also. I already made my reservation, and my travel agent will aply the AAA discount when it becomes available. You do not have to wait on the discount to make your reservation. I figure as long as it shows up by Dec. 31st, I'm ok.

I don't think there are AAA codes, you just ask for AAA discount.

I just called CRO and they said the AAA rates are STILL not out for room only the person that said they got a discount must have a package.

You can only get a AAA discount on a package if you book through AAA Travel.
If you book straight through Disney AAA only works with room only.
I just found that out today.

I have a question.

We are going in Dec. It will be myself and my BF. He has a AAA card, I don't. I have been the one making the payments because our vacation account is in my name.

Can we use his AAA since he is listed as a person staying in the room?

Thanks,
Sheri

Good question,
If I was guessing I would say that you would need to have the AAA membership since the ressie is in your name, but you probably could have your bf put you on his AAA plan.
