AAA Discounts!

Hello!

we are AAA members and I haven't been able to locate a list or even more than a mention of some discounts available at Disney and around the area. Is there a general list or link to a thread that mentions the discounts? I am terrible at remembering to ask, and if i could print out a list I could plan out some places to go/things to do.

I believe it's 10-15% off room only (depending when you go) and based on availability. You also get a diamond parking pas when booking through AAA. The parking area is next to the handicapped parking. Some parks that's good, others not so much (like MK). I can't recall the other "perks" but you can get the same room discount using a travel agent with your AAA card FYI. Try going to the AAA website for more info, or calling them, although most of the agents I have dealt with are not so smart about Disney. I use Small World Travel agency and she in turn applied my AAA discount until something better came along. I highly recommend them

Thanks...our agent wasn't too helpful either. We are staying offsite (my inlaws gave us a week at their timeshare- couldn't pass up free). I will try hunting around the AAA website too

Do you have an Iphone? They have an app that you can download that tells you all the discounts. If you want to PM me and give me the zip code for the area you are staying I can type it in an see what discounts are in that area.

I have only booked WDW trips through Disney themselves or AAA. I always get like 10-15% off [just like you said]. However, does Small World Travel have better deals or are they just better to deal with? Sounds like you've had a great experience with them. I always hesitate to book anything Disney through other sources because of the fear of fraud but I will definitely give them a shout for a quote.

It's called AAA Discounts. It's free. You can use your current location or there is a map so you can pick a different location.

We started off with Small World and they were not good. We would call our agent and she would take a week to call us back. Not good! Emails were 2 to 3 days. So we contacted Wendy at AAA and got great service. She has been wonderful and answered all questions quickly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend AAA, just ask for a new agent if you get one that doesn't mesh well with you.

If you go to your AAA agency storefront they will have a WDW brochure that you can pick up. In the front of the brochure is a list of all the discounts available at WDW. Then ask for the FL travel book/guide and ask if they have one specific to Orlando. In this book will be a list of all the places that accept AAA and if there is a discount. This includes all the non-WDW places - you know the oddball places. There will also be some coupons and discount codes in the book. These books exist for every state.

ETA - if your local AAA agency doesn't have the book you can either ask that they order it for your or you can go online and order it yourself.

I found that AAA has the best prices on WDW park tickets. I recently ordered park passes for my kids online through the AAA website. When they arrived in the mail, I noticed that AAA had also included a parking pass with the tickets.

I did a search for AAA discounts and put in the zip for Lake Buena Vista. I had to put in Orlando to really get anything.

You can book RM only thru Disney and get AAA discount but if u want pkg you have to go thru aaa
