AAA discounts released for 2004 dates?

I am curious if anyone has gotten their 2004 rates w/AAA discount? I currently have 2 rooms booked for mid January & was thinking of calling to see if the AAA discounts are out yet. I saw some mention of it here & am hoping others have had some good luck. I am referring to ressies with the CRO not those made thru AAA.

Please post if you got a AAA rate for a 2004 ressie and what rate you got--it would help those of us who are waiting & hoping. I also have an AP but would like to see that rate come down sooner if possible!

Thanks for the link! I did end up calling and was told they are not "yet" available. I asked if they are available for any rooms for my time period (I have concierge ressies and thought they might not have any for that room type) & she said that there are not any in there system for that time period at all.

Sounds like we are all getting conflicting info.

Hope they get released soon!

AAA rates for 2003 became available the end of July 2002. I made my reservations for POR on August 1, 2002. We are staying the week of Thanksgiving. I hope this gives you an idea of when the new rates will be out.

I called CRO yesterday (Monday) and had the AAA discount applied to our June 2004 reservation. We are booked at the WL (woods view) for June 11-19, 2004 and the discount was only 10%. I sure hope something better is released like the discounts for this June but if not it's better than nothing. I hope this helps!!!

Hmm, the CRO is back to old "nope, there is no AAA rate available for your time period". I just called again and was given the standard line. I asked if the AAA was available on any room for our time period at AKL and was given a resounding "no".

Anyway--congrats to those who were able to get at least the AAA rate for now!

I called several times on Monday, June 16,after I had been told last week by CRO that AAA rates would be available on that day. I was NOT able to get anyone to book with AAA rates. The last CM I spoke with said that the AAA packages were available but AAA room only rates would not be until June 30th. She then said she could get in a lot of trouble for saying any date like that and that whoever had given me the previous date and information was also out of line. They also all said NO DC discounts would be available in spite of the CM last week insisting that there would be. And so it goes...... I'm just glad to have my DIS back. major withdrawals here!!!

I called Monday morning(based on info received here) to find out if I could apply AAA discount to my 6/04 and she said,"no"
I asked if they were out and the CRO said not for AKL concierge.
When I asked if there were going to be AAArates for my reservation,she said never for concierge! Is that true??
I think i'll be calling back...

Just off phone with CRO, was concerned after reading these posts. I had called Mon. 6-16 and had AAA discount applied to my Feb. 04 room only ressie. The discount was 10% (peak season deluxe). I just called back to confirm what I had done and it is in the computer as a room only, AAA discount. The CM said they "show up as a package due to the AAA discount but it is not a package in the sense of having park tickets included". I confirmed that all the CRO policies apply (as opposed to a package thru WDTC). I have only put a one night deposit down and don't have to pay the rest until arrival, cancellation up to 5 days out.

I wonder why so many people are being told different things??

Ibet if I called 5 times I'd get 5 different answers!!! Why is that?? I called 6/16 and they said no AAA or discounts of any kind for AKL concierge. You can bet a Giraffe's spots I'll be calling back!!!
