AAA discounts on fort wilderness cabins?

Is there really a discount of 25% on the cabins if you're a AAA member? I saw this on some website but I thought I had better ask the experts

No. The discounts run like this.

20% off values and moderates during value season
15% off deluxe

15% off values and moderates during regular and peak season
10% off deluxe

Nothing during holiday season.

FW cabins would be in the deluxe catergory for discounts.

Mousersevers disagrees with you slightly. They are saying that FW cabins are treated as a moderate resort for AAA discounts.

• During Value Season you can get up to 15% off at the Disney Deluxe and Disney Vacation Club resorts, or 20% off at the Value and Moderate resorts and the Ft. Wilderness campsites.​
• During Regular Season you can usually get up to 10% off at the Disney Deluxe and Disney Vacation Club resorts, or 15% off at the Value and Moderate resorts and the Ft. Wilderness campsites.​
• During Peak Season you can usually get up to 10% off at the Disney Deluxe and Disney Vacation Club resorts, or 15% off at the Value and Moderate resorts.​
• The only time AAA/CAA discounts don't usually apply is Holiday Season (around Christmas).​

Hope it's correct, as we want to use our AA membership (Uk equivalent to AAA) to get a discount in a FW cabin, as we don't have our usual PAPs this year:-(

Hmm, that I didn't know. I wouldn't figure them to be considered in the moderate catergory for discounts.

Just need to convince dw a 10th WDW trip is necessary now!
