AAA discount

Must one have roadside assistance to get the discount or can you just have AAA car insurance?

You have to be a member (roadside assistance).

Call your AAA office because I know where I live if you are a member, you can get a discount on your AAA insurance. In that case it would really be worth it to join.

Thanks DBF has AAA insurance. He used to have roadside too, but went with Sams because it was cheaper.

Ilovestitch is right. Has your DBF compared car insurance rates? It may be more cost-effective to rejoin AAA.

He still has AAA car insurance. He just didn't renew the roadside with them because Sams was cheaper.

Just called Disney today and asked about the AAA discount. Was told they only have a limited amount of rooms with the AAA discount. He told me to book my room and all I have to leave is 1 nights deposit. I didn't pick my vacation at work yet so I'm not exactly sure when I can go. I know it will be in August just not sure what days. So I booked 8/17-8/27 at POFQ standard room and got 20% off. It saved me $336.00. So the AAA membership paid for itself. The rep told me if I can't go just cancel 6 or more days prior to arrival and I get my money back. Didn't want to take a chance and wait and have no rooms left so I booked. DD is doing cartwheels. LOL Does anyone know how many rooms they reserve for AAA. Just wondering.

Yep, we understand that. But since AAA Members get a discount on their car insurance - mine is 5% - which, even combined with the cost of an AAA Membership, is likely less expensive than the car insurance at full price plus the Sam's auto service membership.
