Do you get a AAA discount on the Disneyland hotelslike you do at WDW ?

I'm thinking of booking my room and tkts thru AAA so we get the enhanced fastpass, but I'm wondering if it's cheaper to book seperatly.

I know that AAA does offer discounts at DL. Costco does as well.

What is the enhanced fastpass? Is it only avaliable if you book through AAA or is it avaliable if you stay at one of the DL Resorts?

Thanks

I'm not positive but I believe you have to buy the hotel/tkts from AAA to get enhanced fastpass.
As I understand it, enhanced fastpass lets you hold fastpasses for different rides at the same time.
We're going the first week in August so I thought this might help us avoid long waits.

To get the enhanced fastpass you have to book through AAA AND stay at one of the Disney hotels onsite.

When we used AAA last year, the savings compared to booking with Disney was all of $5 or something silly.....BUT (and that is a BIIIIGGGG BUT!) the enhanced fast pass was well worth any lack of savings. Huge time saver, and better yet, a sanity saver. Plus, you get the California Diamond book that has some decent coupons in it.

We are using DVC points for our next trip and DH keeps complaining about how we have to wait in line with everyone else now! (Poor baby! ;) )

Thanks Two-foxes, I think we'll spring for the extra $5 :-)

i am saving almost $200.00 on our vacation using AAA

We saved $70 by booking through AAA. Of course, I promptly booked another character meal princess: My 5 year old asked me today if she can be a "Disney Freak" like me when she grows up. :rotfl2:

If you are planning on staying on property anyway, definitely go through AAA. It's worth it!

Thanks everyone, I'll be booking soon.
We've stayed at WDW more times then I can count and so I'm really familiar with the best way to get good rates. Disneyland is a new experience for me.
