AAA Discount question.

Can someone who has AAA tell me what kind of discounts you get at Disney with AAA? I tried to check their website, but they don't tell you anything unless you are a member...

None of the didney owned resoerts give AAA or AARP

The Swan And Dolphin give a small AAA discount-I used it my last visit, but there are only so many rooms available & you need to book 3 months or so out

I booked the new AoA Little Mermaid room for September and got a 10% discount.

This is not accurate.

There are AAA rates for resort rooms, but I don't think there is a standard discount. The discount will vary resort to resort and by time of year. You can actually call Disney (or a Disney-centric travel agent) and make a AAA rate reservation.

AAA also sells Disney tickets at for a small discount....like 4% off gate prices.

If you book a WDW package through AAA travel agent, there a few perks you get, like a special spot for fireworks and a character experience.

There's also special parking areas for AAA members who can get a AAA Diamond Parking pass....but what's required for getting that pass varies by AAA office.

Been a AAA member for many years and have used the the card to get room-only discounts on Disney owned resorts. The only other onsite discounts I have gotten were a 10% discount at World of Disney store at DTD, discounts on rooms at the Swan and Dolphin, and a 10% discount at the restaurants at the Swan and Dolphin resorts.

You can also get a discount at the Earl of Sandwich in Downtown Disney. I think it's 10%.
