AAA Discount Question

Last year we went for a 3 night stay at a value at the end of August. We booked with the dining plan and still got a good rate at AS-Sports, almost at the AAA discount rate, but with the package. My question is, if I book a room only w/the 20% off AAA rate and then call back and add dining, would I still get the AAA rate or would this mess things up??? I know you have to go through AAA for the package rate, but it seems to me I've still gotten a good deal on the room during value seasons, even more so than what the published rate is.

If you add paid for dining -- you must have a package thru AAA..

If you want FREE dining - you lose the AAA discount.

There is no discount stacking. Pick one discount or the other.

We wouldn't be going during free dining. My question is soley if I book a room only with the AAA discount and then later decide to add the dining package, would the room discount stay. I've done this twice before and can't remember if the discount was still applied....pretty sure, but not 100%. And the computers are being upgraded right now at WDWTC so I have to wait until later tonight or tomorrow to check.

You can get the AAA discount on the room portion of your MYW package(room/tickets/DDP) but it must be booked through a AAA travel agent not the Disney website.
