AAA discount or AP

HI, does anyone know if the AAA discount for room only is better than the AP room discount? I am debating on getting a AP for this trip and a future trip. Any help is appreciated.

They keep changing the annual pass program, but I think it is usually quite a bit cheaper than AAA, especially if staying in deluxe.
