AAA Discount on Room in AoA?

Can someone explain to me the AAA discount and how/if it works on rooms in Disney property? I can't seem to find a post on it, or sticky, otherwise I'd ask there.

Specifically, I'm looking to see if AAA discounts are applicable to rooms at AoA, the LM room.

When we called Disney to make our reservation, we just said we had it and they just applied it to the ressie. We are staying at the Nemo family suites and AAA took 10% off total. We are hoping for a deeper discount code to come out this summer, but certainly better than nothing!

There is currently no AAA discount for the AoA LM rooms. But it was only a $30 difference between All Stars with discount and AoA without, so I took AoA. I am booked full price for our F&W trip in September.

So it seems they only discount the family suit rooms and not the LM standard rooms? Blast.
