AAA discount on packages?

Can you get an AAA discount on a package with dining? Do you book through AAA or can you book online? I'm trying to decide if it's worth joining AAA since we get free roadside assistance with our leases.

If you want a to book a package you need to book through AAA to get the discount. Disney direct will apply the AAA discount to room only.

AAA is for room discount only. You can get the dining package through them. I was able to get a cheaer price going through disney and the recent codes though.

AAA saved me over $600 on my MYW dining package (plus I'll get $25 at check-in from the Disney/AAA promo they had running back in January.) My memberhip only cost me $22 as I got an associate membership with my MIL. Even at full price it would have been worth it! There are alot of other discounts available as well and the roadside assistance sure can come in handy!

BTW, the recent codes didn't help me out at all with my December trip

Haygan, since you have an associate membership w/ your MIL, can you give me a clue how i get on my mom's membership? i was willing to pay for an associate membership, but AAA of alabama says it's only for spouses and dependents under the age of 24...any ideas?

We were able to get an associate membership with my MIL because we share the same address

You have to live with (and have proof of it) your mother. You need to have your lisence with her address on it to get the associate membership. A new one is only 60, so maybe that is worth it.

You can get a discount if booked through AAA as people have stated. I am pricing a MYW Package for next August with Dining. AAA is about $150 cheaper for 7 nights over booking direct with Disney.

The $600+ difference was the difference between what my MYW package(room, tix and dining) cost thru AAA and what the same exact thing was going to cost directly thru Disney (one their website.)
