Does the AAA Member have to be with our group to get the 10% discount? Or can I use my relatives AAA Card without him being there?

Not sure about AARP but I would think you could use the AAA card w/o too much fuss. Usually you just show it to them and they will take off the discount w/o asking for another I.D.

no discount on the aarp in universal orlando.
there are some other loews hotels that do honor aarp for hotel discounts.
the code for it is SEN

for the AAA card, you will receive 10% discount for food and merch in the parks and city walk. (except for cart vendors)

be sure to tell the TM in advance you have the aaa card for any discounts prior to the order or purchase.

they ask to see the card then.
a few times they wrote down my number, other times they didn't.

i have never been asked to show any proof of id when i have used my aaa card in the parks.
