AAA discount on 1 bedroom suite at AKL?

My DH and I are planning to go to AKL in Jan. 2008. Is there a AAA rate for suites? Do ya'll suggest booking room only now (I realize the 2008 rates will be higher than 2007) or waiting for package rates to come out? Also, does anyone know how much higher the rates usually go from one year to the next? Thank you everyone for any info you can give me!!!

Never seen a AAA discount on a suite. In fact, never seen any discounts on suites but I could be wrong. There are just so few of them that they don't need to discount them. And, in my opinion, you would be better off asking for 2 connecting rooms than the 1 BR suite there. We were not the least bit happy with the view from them and it will only get worse when they start constructing the new DVC building next door.
