AAA Discount % off

Can anyone tell me what percent off the AAA discount is for booking a room only?? TIA!

According to Mousesavers dot com, during the value season it's 15% off valu/deluxe/dvc resorts and 20% at moderates and Fort Wilderness Cabins. During the regular reason, 10% at deluxe/dvc and 15-20% at value/moderate/Fort Wilderness Cabins. Peak and summer seasons is 10% across the board. It does not apply during the Holiday season

My agent told me they are having a spring sale - I got 20% off park and room for regular season on Monday, on top of Disney's spring sale rates. So I would call and get a quote anyway in case the agent was not BSing me and there IS a big AAA Disney sale going on now!

I can't confirm this. Keep in mind that if you book directly through AAA, you will not have any control of it - your AAA agent will be the only one permitted to change/modify your reservation. You can get the AAA rate by booking directly though Disney - it probably would not be the sale rate, if there was one. To me, I want to be able to make any changes to my reservation myself.

Caveat: You can only get a AAA room only discount from Disney directly. If you want a package, with a AAA discount on the room, you must book it through AAA.

You can get a AAA room only from anywhere, even a non AAA travel agent. A package must go through AAA

Found this out after I booked thru AAA. Got exactly the same package price for the 4/3 deal, but knew there were a few little perks like the Diamond Card. But it turns out I can't use the WDW planning tools like the itinerary builder.

Oh well...

I had the AAA room only rate for CBR, but found I could do about $350 better, with more perks, on the 4-3 deal, so switched.

I was able to use all their planning tools and i booked 4/3 with deluxe dining even got their custom maps sent to my home. I also did my itinerary on wdw site.
