We talked to DVC and they said that AAA now offers discount for tickets - but we have to call AAA directly. Our AAA office in Texas (after 3 different people) gives 3 different answers - but basically, said they don't provide discount tickets just Disney packages. Called DVC back - and after checking -said we have to do this online...but there is no place (that we can find) to do this online. Does anyone know the scoop??? We can't seem to figure this one out. We are DVC members, live in Texas and just want to buy 6 day park hoppers - not an annual pass. Thanks....

you might be better off to subscribe to the mousesavers newsletter which arrives via email on the 15th of the month and then you could order tickets at a discount using their special link. I think I have read that these prices are equivalent or better than AAA. This is of course if you have time to do this before your trip,

We just bought our annual passes at AAA. We physically went into the office to purchase them.

When I priced them out last December--there was no huge savings using AAA v. Undercover Tourist with the Mousesavers discount. We ended up getting them from UT so that i would not have to actually go to the AAA office.

Last time we bought tickets, we purchased one child ticket from AAA and received the AAA Diamond Parking Pass. We purchased the remaining 3 adult tickets from Undercover Tourist. We paid about $10 more at AAA, but for only 1 ticket. It was worth it for the parking pass. FWIW

FWIW, this perk varies from office to office. A few years ago, in the So. Jersey, you had to purchase a package or at least a 7 day ticket to get the parking voucher. Which, if you are just going to use that ticket to upgrade to an AP is not a big deal but....

Maybe the Texas AAA doesn't sell WDW Tickets? I priced out tickets for one of my trips, at AAA & UT w/Mousesavers & AAA was cheaper. I went to AAA in person & bought my tickets there. Usually the best price is from UT w/MS.

There's really no entity that is just "AAA"---it's a loose confederation of different regional clubs, and each club sets its own rules about which tickets it discounts, what it takes to get a Diamond parking pass, etc. For example, last time I checked, AAA-Michigan sold only 5-day and 7-day hoppers at a discount without also needing to buy a package, and will only give a Diamond pass to those who book a package through AAA-MI.

Each AAA club is independent, much like Blue Cross. One can go to a AAA South office in GA or FL and buy the tickets. Some other clubs likely carry them but I'm sure not all do. You SHOULD be able to get your club to order them for you from one that does or you should be able to order them yourself for delivery from one that does. The main advantage to me is that AAA south sells FL resident tickets at a small savings and they allow refunds if the voucher is unused.
