Hi everyone!

Since the AP rates don't look too promising was wondering if anyone here knows if I would be able to get a AAA rate for the CR in early December and about what the rate or percentage off would be?? I know I read somewhere here that the deluxes were $189 a night with the AAA discount but I find it hard to believe that we would be able to get the CR Tower rooms for this price--maybe that's for wing rooms. Anyway thanks for your help and we will be staying from Dec 7-14:D

We will be at the Contemporary for the same dates as you! I made a AAA ressie for the Contemporary, Tower Room, in June for 12/7 - 12/14. The price per night was $317.50. This is only a 15% discount off the rack rate of $335 per night. Better than nothing - I am still hoping there will be an AP rate or code rate for early December. You can check the AAA web site for availability of AAA discounts for the Disney Resorts.

Hi crazy4wdw!

Thanks so much for posting! I'm trying to figure this out. Our room per night including tax is around $374. Are your figures before tax? Also 15% off of $335 would be around $50 a night off for a total room charge of $285? Maybe there's something I'm missing? If we could get the 15% it would make our room around $318 and that includes tax. Thanks again for your help and I'm really hoping too that AP rates will be released for the Towers but I'm starting to have my doubts:( That's why I'm looking into other discounts. Did you have to have your AAA # when you booked it or did they say to show it at check-in? Well if we get the right prices we'll be there with you--I can hardly wait! It's been a few years since we've stayed at the CR and we just love it!!:D

Princess Crazy: The rack rate for the Contemporary Tower is $335 per night. 15% of 335 = 50.25 so the discounted rate would be $284.75. Remember that you have to add the sales and resort tax to the $284.75 which is 11.5%. The tax would be $32.75 so the total would come to $317.50.

I did have to provide my AAA member number and expiration date to CRO when I made my ressie. I was told that I would need to present my AAA membership card when checking-in.

This is my first trip to the Contemporary since 1996. I am looking forward to seeing what the new room decor looks like.

Maybe I'll see you on the monorail platform!
