AAA discount for August 2007 - what would it be?

For my July 2006 I got a room only and also the AAA discount. It was 15% off on the value resorts.

What would the AAA discount be on a value resort in August of 2007, especially starting 8/5 (according to Mousesavers) which starts value season at the value resorts?

Since Disney has added the new season, Summer Season and the rates are higher at the values, does anyone feel that maybe Disney would offer AP discounts in July instead of offering AP discounts for August during value season?

I loved staying at Pop so much for my first on-site trip, that I want to plan a trip for next summer, the only time I can take a vacation. When should I book for a room only for August of 2007? Since value season starts on 8/5/07 will it be harder to get a room at Pop or Allstar Movies?

I can't answer all of your questions, and so far AAA rates for 2007 have not yet been released (possibly Monday are the rumors I've read/heard).

Here is what I can tell you:

2007 Rack Rates are out for all hotels. You can book a room-only ressie for Pop now for your travel dates.

As soon as AAA rates are available, you can call back to CRO and have that rate applied to your ressie. Not sure how AAA is adjusting their discount given the new "summer" season next year.

Finally, if an AP discount comes out next summer for your travel dates, you can call back to CRO again and have that rate applied (this assumes availability at the resort for each particular discount).

I've never had a problem reducing my rate with a quick call to CRO for either AAA or AP, but I tend to reserve a room-only as soon as I know when/where I want to stay and then just call back to adjust my rates as soon as the new rates are released.
