Just booked our January 08 package for a 5 night stay. My first choice was BCV, but there were no AAA package rates left for a 1 br villa in that resort. BWV WAS available and the rate was nearly $500 less than my quote from the Disney website. That just seemed too good to pass up. My preference (between the two) was BCV because of the convenient counter service restaurant and, of course, the pool. In truth, though, for our last vacation, we ate at the resort counter service location only twice, and were only in the pool for 30 minutes or so. And it IS January after all. Depending on the weather, the swimming might not be all that appealing. So, should I (a) be thrilled with this turn of events (because truthfully, I did not expect that level of savings from AAA), (b) keep trying to book BCV (hoping a AAA pkg will open up), or (c) pony up the additional $500 to stay in BCV without the AAA package?
By the way, we're going with Epcot area resorts this time because we LOVE the idea of being able to walk to Epcot. We stayed at the Wilderness Lodge Villas last year and LOVED it, but thought we'd try a new resort. Favorite things about the villas - separate sleeping area for the little one AND the washer and dryer! We had no idea how much we'd use the washer and dryer!
