AAA discount and ASMusic family suites

I have a questions?????

Can you get any type of discount (AAA in general) on the family suites at Alstar Music?

I have read else where on the DIS boards that some have said they could. Is this true???

When we compared the rates, we didn't see any difference between Disney quoted rates, and the AAA rates.

I just explored this option for my Dsis to see if it was worth her getting AAA because she would like to try the ASMu suites, they have been staying at cabins. I know last year I could not get a discount to come up.

Discount came up and totally worth her joining. In 1.5 nights she paid for her member fee.

What time of year is she going? I'm booked during peak season, I wonder if it's why I didn't see one.

I'm going in Jan and have a AAA rate on a family suite.

Rack Rate was $185.00 ish
AAA rate I'm paying is $147.50

It took the CM a minute to get it to accept AAA, but she finally got it. I'm room only so I just called the 1-800-828-0228 number and booked it.

I called and checked and was told by cm you can't get aaa discount on family suite if you have the dining plan

Are the suites quiet? We normally stay offsite because my dh can't stand the noise levels at night onsite.
