AAA Diamond parking pass vs. POP buses

I know the bus stop for Pop Century is one the farthest from each park entrance, which means a pretty good walk, especially at Epcot. I also know that you still have to take the ferry or monorail if you use the AAA parking for the MK. what I was wondering is if the AAA parking in the other parks is closer to the park entrances than the Pop Century bus stop? Will taking advantage of the AAA diamond pass save you any walking to the park entrances?

How is the traffic back to Pop Century if you drive your own car? In all the trips where we've stayed onsite, we've only taken the resort buses. Driving our own car and parking in the AAA lot may be worth it just because we can bypass the horendous crowds waiting for the All Star and Pop Century buses at the end of the day.

I reccomend taking your own car because you can come and go as you please.. no waiting for busses or having to stand. AAA parking is normally very close up.. I havent taken the busses before but I have used the AAA parking and it was great because there was no need for a tram etc. Save yourself the hassle of crowds and drive. At the end of the day it is no fun to have to wait for a bus..

Not sure where the Pop Bus stop is at Epcot, but we used the Diamond lots at all four parks last year:

EPCOT: directly across from the kennels, to the left of the monorail station. Did feel like we had a longer walk last month from the POR drop off to the entrance.

MGM: Close to the main entrance/bus drop off...behind handicapped parking.

MK: also across from the kennels, right near the bridge the trams go under, to the rt of the handicapped spaces. You are closer using the resort buses here since once you park in the Diamond lot, you have to use the monorail or take the ferry boat to the main entrance anyway.

AK: to the right of the main entrance, immediately behind/next to the handicapped lot. This actually seemed like a shorter walk than the one we had from the bus drop off when we went last month and did not rent a car.

I know we all will walk miles thru the parks...but it sure is nice getting a parking space at the front of the lots!!!

Use the pass everywhere but MK. The bus gets you right up the Mk.
Epcot is the best AAA parking.
