I already have ressies for next July (ugh, how long is that) using AAA discount. When the DC discounts come out is it going to be a problem to switch over the ressies. Are they going to cancel the AAA and then re-book over to DC. If the discounts are the same, should I just keep AAA. I don't use the golf that DC gives you, but are there any other advantages to go with DC rates. Thanks...

I can't predict the future but this past year the AAA rate was better than any of the DC rates. In fact DC really doesn't have that many perks anymore. I joined back in 95 and then it was much better. I will not renew this year. DD has and AP it offers just as many perks.

My favorite DC perk is the 20% dining discount at the Swan/Dolphin restaurants!!

I should check & see if AAA offers that too....

I believe that someone posted awhile back that the AAA payment policy is different that the DC. DC has to be paid in full 21 days prior, while AAA balance is due upon check-in. I decided to go with AAA this January for this reason. I have both AAA and DC.

Just thought of something else. When I received my AAA confirmation in the mail from Disney, it said payment due 21 days prior to arrival. I called and inquired about this and was told that full payment could be made at check-in.???????? I don't think half the CM's know what's going on. When I made this ressie on the day that the new AAA discounts came out for 2003, I was told to call AAA. I said, "No, I call Disney." I also saw posts that said that CM's told them that there were no AAA discounts.???????? So, I suggest to keep calling until you get the right answer, as frustrating as that can be! Just to be safe, I plan to have ressie paid in full in December, mainly because this trip involves two families and I want to avoid any confusion. LOL!
