I am thinking about joining AAA. What kind of perks do you get is you book a GCH stay with them?

I can't say for that hotel exactly. They have various packages that come with little extras like lanyards and stuff- whatever the current deal is. Sometimes a free VIP seating at a show. Their park hopper tickets give you free parking and you don't need a package deal to get that. I've found that for the non Disney hotels I can get the trip cheaper by getting rates from travelocity or hotels.com and so on. They were better prices than the AAA discount.

And the other day, their monthly magazine Via came in the mail. I just happened to notice the ads at the end and there were several hotels near Disneyland giving a special rate from the ad. As for Disney hotels, I imagine the AAA discount might be the same as the regular AP discount, but don't know.

We joined AAA for the ease of having one phone number to call from anywhere if we have car trouble on the road.
