I know that some places in Disneyland offer a AAA discount. I know that I cant use my boyfriends card because he has a completely different last name. However, I was thinking of using my mother, or my brothers cards. I myself dont have a card because I don't have a car. Does anyone know if I could do that? or does the card have to be specifically mine?:confused3

Actually, unless you book a AAA package and get a diamond card, there really are no straight AAA discounts anymore that I'm aware of.

However, if you have a Disney VISA you can get free strollers, 10% discounts at some restaurants and 10% discount on purchases of $50 or more at select stores.

We got a 10% AAA discount at Goofy's Kitchen when we ate there a few weeks ago. We didn't even know ahead of time, but when we checked in they asked if we had APs or AAA. And we said my mom has AAA and they gave us the discount. My mom WAS there with us though, although not right at the counter (she was sitting down in the background) and I could have gotten her card out to show them.

My mom wouldnt be there, but if i really had to I suppose I could pay cash and pretend to be Cheryl. Do they check Id's? (I know what I want to use the discount for, I just cant say its a surprise for someone who also uses the boards)

You'll get a 10% AAA the following places:
Plaza Inn
Ariel's Grotto
Goofy's Kitchen
PCH Grill
Wine Country Trattoria (If it's still open)

I'm sure you can use someone elses card. the CM's don't really look that close. All they care about is that you actually have a card with you.

All they checked was the ressy name against the AAA card.

Just so you know you do not need a car to belong to AAA, the Car service benefits, towing etc. would apply to any car you are riding in if you have a card. All of my children always had them.pirate:

:cool1: I can't wait for our DLR discounts!!!! I knew getting a AAA card would pay off! Actually, it paid for itself booking our trip. I got a AAA discount for our room. I saved over $300!$!$!$!$! Also, we use AAA for our car insurance, home insurance and roadside assistance. Like mentioned, if I am riding with a friend and they break down, I can call AAA and they can come out and help, even if it's not my car.:drive: Pretty cool service. They are pretty competitive to other companies. :thumbsup2 Y'all should check them out.

Going back to the OP: I've used the card numerous times and the only thing they seem to look at is the expiration date. I've never been asked for a picture id or anything to prove I'm the cardholder. It doesn't hurt to try. 10% here and there can add up, especially at a place like DLR.

Have a magical trip! pixiedust:
