Hi,
I already bought my admission tickets, but when can I use my AAA card for discounts inside the park? I read to show it everywhere, just in case.... Souvenirs? Counter service? table service? One thread mentioned only where purchases exceed $50. Has anyone had experiences recently? Thank you!

tell the TM you have the AAA card/show it before they ring you up at the counter.

I didn't buy any Souvenirs so can't help you there. In January, I was able to get 10% off all off the Table Service and Counter Service places in the parks but, there was no discounts at the Kiosks. At City Walk, I've gotten the discount at Emerils, Cowfish, Menchies. I didn't get the discount at Mark Pi's or Burger King.

Thank you both! Did there seem to be a total purchase minimum? I foresee us doing a lot of counter service. I guess I'll have to just keep showing it until I get a sense of what the rules are.

no minimum that i am aware of.
i interchange between my ap and aaa cards for park, hotel, city walk discounts.

carts don't give discounts on the ap cards.

i have read of those that had to purchase at least $50 on merch to use the aaa for the 10% discount thought.

my purchases, i wish, were never under $50 when i shop.

What's ap?

lol. Yeah I'm thinking most of my money will be on food at counter service, so that was what I was hoping to use AAA for.

I just read on another site that the AAA discount just changed in the past 2 weeks. It used to be that you just flashed your AAA card and got the discount. Now you have to purchase tickets through AAA and you are given a discount voucher. To get the discount on anything you have to show both your AAA card and the voucher. No voucher no discount. Can anyone confirm this?

Very interesting Ann.... and potentially disappointing. I found a better ticket deal elsewhere so I jumped on it. I hope that wasn't a bad decision in the long run.

OK, this is what my local AAA says on its website. I hadn't thought to LOOK there before. Pardon me for cutting/pasting but I believe it's only behind the login site, so I can't just share the link.

So what's the AAA Discounts & Rewards Ticket mentioned?? :(

i just read that post of yellowfish who works with aaa.

why don't you make a new thread due to the change of policy with AAA now.
what was valid in february for son's trip, looks like it isn't now.
i last went in october but paid for the february honeymoon for son
he is on my AAA.

i might call my local aaa office to ask about the new policies.
but, i can always fall back on using my ap for park discounts.
