AAA card - How long does it take?

We are joining AAA but I have to actually still go online and do it. Any idea how long the actual membership card takes to get to you? Our trip is June 18th. DH told me to join ages ago and honestly just forgot with everything else going on; hoping I can still get it in time or I'm in trouble.

I think my membership kit arrived within a week of joining. I belong to AAA Midatlantic. Some divisions make take less time, some may take more. It wikk depend on the how they handle things in your division.

When you join, you should get an email with your membership number on it as a confirmation. If anything, just take that with you. But when I booked mine, they asked for the number then. They may not even ask for the card at check in. I wouldn't worry too much as long as you have your membership #.

I seem to remember when I joined AAA about 2 years ago that there was a tempory card that you could print out that had your AAA number on it. But Ratpack is correct. The times I have called Disney, they ask for your AAA numer but when you check in they never asked to see my card.

I just joined on line and only info i got after the "send" screen was. Your card and packet will arrive in several weeks. No email from the online at all. This was a week ago, and haven't gotten anything yet.

I got my card in the mail 8 days after signing up with AAA here in CT. I signed up in person at the office and I did receive a temporary card then as well. I then noticed my wife wasn't on the plan and I added her via telephone confirmation/and internet form. Her temp card came in 3 days. It is now 7 days and she hasn't gotten her permanent card yet.

Go down to your AAA office and ask them for a temporary card if you haven't gotten one yet. I am sure its not an unusual request.

We live in Texas and did get the temporary card right away when i did it online. Our screen also said if the card doesn't arrive within 10 days, we should call the number. So..gues I worried for nothing here! Thanks for all of the advice!

I just joined last week. I am also in IL. I did not get any email or any temp card, either. I did phone the AAA contact number and got my AAA number from them that I applied to my YC ressie.
