AAA car discount question

I'm looking to rent a car in April, and found a pretty good deal using National and my AAA card. The problem is, the AAA card is in my name, but DH would be the driver, so I would book it under his name. Has anyone done this? I don't want a surprise at the last minute, and have to pay more. Thanks!

If you are an EA member your spouse drives free. Book the reservation in your name and let him drive. If you aren't an EA member join,it's free.
