AAA better than Disney Visa Package?

As of right now I have Disney Visa package booked for December for CR garden wings. Two days ago I requested a quote from AAA to see what it would be. I just received an e-mail from AAA, and their rate is slightly lower, plus I can save another 2% by using AAA credit card. I am really tempted to switch. Now to my question, can I book through AAA, and then cancel my package with CRO, or do I need to cancel the CRO first? I am afraid that if I cancel first, I might lose the AAA rate by the time the agent goes to book it. I also plan on finding out whether they charge any booking fees and their cancellation fees before I book.

My Visa rate was lower than the AAA rate. I called CRO and booked my vacation with the AAA rate and then called AAA and cancelled my reservation with them.
It does not seem to be a problem having 2 reservations.

I just had AAA transfer my reservation to them. They made me sign a form then Disney sent them the reservation.

AAA told me that I would pay more with the VISA discount. I tried calling Disney myself about the AP rates, but they told me I had to go through AAA as my reservation was with them. I have to wait until my AAA office opens to find out about AP rates and the new discount. Is the discount better than the AAA rate?
