I know this has been posted before, but none of my searches provided what i was looking for. I just read a AAA flyer that said AAA diamond card gives you 20% on dining, recreation, spa, behind the scenes tours. I know "behind the seeds" gives this discount. I also saw AAA diamond parking and Disney storytelling by a character from an animated film. I have heard of the parking lots but not the storytelling. Does anyone have a comprehensive explanation of these benefits and how to use them?

Each package is different so you should ask before you book (or call back if you are confused). Disney apparently decides which packages offer which items. You will receive a brochure with your documents that explains exactly what your package offers, it will include the "Diamond Card" which is what you will show to get discounts (most of the dining discounts are 10% and are for random places---Wolfgang puck express, Ghirardelli, Earl of Sandwich, to name a few) not every place in WDW, and it will include your diamond parking pass. If you are questioning what your package includes I would definitely call your AAA travel agent b/c if you are going to do the story telling and it is included in your package you must reserve your place in advance and you must show the pass included with your documents to be admitted. ALSO, our package included a free round of mini-golf and a 30 minute pass for the resort arcade.

The dining discount is only at certain restaurants (none that we were interested in eating at). parking pass - there are certain spots in the parks' lots towards the front that only allow those with the AAA pass to park in. We only used it at DHS and AK and were pretty close to the entrance. Storytime: you have to reserve it in advance. it's at MK and in March the storyteller was Peter Pan. Those are the only ones I'm familiar with.

re: AAA parking pass

There are a limited number of spaces available, so it's possible that if you arrive later in the day (or just during a really busy time) you may not be able to park there.

Also, not all these spaces are as spiffy as they sound. We've used this at EP before and while you're just a few rows back from the park entrance, if you're near the end of the row you'll still have a pretty good hike to the gate - and the trams don't run here.

Oh and if you're staying off property, you will still need to pay the parking fee even with this pass.
