The site & the customer service rep told me the cost without AAA was $264 + $25 roll away.
The AAA rate is $237.60 + $25 roll away + 30 tax.
I messed up the Date thread, my actual total with tax & extra bed is $292.60.
I'm not really upset about total cost, I just was expecting a little more off then the price I saw on Universal website. I just wanted to be sure I didn't book thru a "wrong" phone line of something.
yup. 10% is norm for HRH. You are picking the most pop hotel (with the least amount of rooms) during a very busy time of year. They hardly need to offer a discount at all.
You might be able to get a 15% discount on RPR/PBH, but 10% has been the norm for HRH for the past year at least.
Subi WRX-- Actually HRH was the only one of the 3 with a AAA rate that night.
I had no problems getting a 1 night.
We have a condo for the week (SkyAuciton steal, ah deal), but with half our party going to HHN we decided to spend a night at on site to make transportation easy.
Now the only problem is we'll want MORE MORE MORE of on-site. Really looking forward to it.
Hmmm, that is odd. We had the RPR booked for that same weekend with AAA rate, and that was a 15% discount. Maybe because we booked earlier or had more than one night booked?
i figured if Columbus day they'd be staying the night before, then kids back to skool on the Tuesday...our usual mo
also figure that the day prior to/after holiday is more expensive...least it would be if i were in charge of setting the rates...would add in a minimum 3 days stay too...im mean
Yup. That's how it starts, one little visit. Next thing you know, you find a great deal on AP's and you're looking at the online school calendar in April for the following year and making a mental note of all the 4 day weekends you can make a quick getaway.
Once you've stayed at all 3 hotels, the utterly spoiled children (who are soon forgetting what it's like to wait in line for rides) begin voicing their opinion about which hotel to stay at next, pros and cons of each, and this becomes dinner conversation on a regular basis.
The good thing is the neighbor's kid (10 y.o) who eats over a lot is just as crazy as we are so he easily participates in the conversation including his experience at US in California and Euro Disney.
