I fly AA out of STL direct flight. The new pricing came out for my late may/early june dates

my question is what are the odds this pricing will hold for awhile? $163 is not bad, the best I paid was $150, but I flew in sept not May which i would assume is a higher airfare time?

what do folks suggest..wait or buy?

Well, if the best you've done is $150 off-season and you can get it for $163 and it's more prime dates (is Memorial Day weekend in your mix?), then it would seem risky to wait for it drop further. Obviously, that's your call.

end of Mday is in the mix
The pricing was on travelocity but I went to AA's site and they are still showing like $346 a ticket..seems odd?

what a tough call :confused3

I would have bought that 163.00, that's a great price:thumbsup2

$163 is the best price (or very close to it) you'll get this year. If Travelocity offers it MAKE CERTAIN of the dates, times and seats, then book. You may want to call AA directly and discuss the fare with them as they guarantee to have the lowest fare available on their website. You may be able to get it directly through AA that way. Certainly worth the effort.

Good luck!!

AA does guaranty that the prices on their Web site will be the lowest. As a result, if you are looking at exactly the same flights on Travelocity, my guess is that it wouldn't let you actually book the tickets at that price. I've had that happen a number of times with Travelocity, Expedia, etc. They show a fare that appears to good to be true; and quess what?

The other thing could be that they are showing you a fare that includes stops and plane changes, while the AA site is showing non stops.
