AA lowered their fare?

I booked last March for our November trip, i just looked on line and noticed that the flight (same one I booked) is now $10 cheaper. I booked 5 seats so that's $50.

Anyone ever successful in getting AA to drop the price???? I understand the cost in changing the ticket if I was going to change the flight, but it's the same flight......

You will definitely have to call AA for the answer to your question. I all depends on what fare basis your ticket is in. You will get all different answers here because it's not apples to apples.

They should credit you. It wont come off the price but they will give you a voucher for future flights.

It depends... on MOST discounted fares they have the right to charge you a change fee. They may or may not waive it.

Also, ask them how you can use any credits. On some airlines you have to use the credit for the ticketed passenger, in other words you can't combine 5 $10 credits for one $50 on one persons ticket.
