AA....economy super saver???

So, I need to fly to Ca as cheaply as possible. I have found some great deals on AA...they are in a class called economy super saver. Is there anything I need to know before booking this class flight??? It's just so darn cheap...almost half what I am finding elsewhere.
Any thoughts????

Aside from needing to bring your own seats (and seatbelts, bolts, tools, etc - because you'll be located in cargo? and don't forget blankets?). Just make sure you read all the restrictions that go with that fare.

eta: I found this https://www.aa.com/reservation/fareComparisonSuccess.do comparison chart entirely by accident . Economy Super Saver is your typical, lowest cost, highest restiction fare.

Oh come on...can't be that bad. It's only $470 for two of us to fly vs over $800 otherwise. My only concern is dh's mother. She is very ill, but I don't think anything will happen by our travel dates in Sept. But we really have to be in San Diego. Sept 27-Oct 2.
I did go through a dummy reservation. There were plenty of seats to choose from. Dh really wanted a direct flight but told him not happening. First, way too expensive, and second, I want to get off that plane, stretch, use a real bathroom and get some food.
Will probably book in the next day or so. Tried getting in touch with Susie but she doesn't seem to be on the boards very often.

last year i booked the economy super saver rate and picked my seat when i made the purchase.
paid $134 direct, non stop.

no problems for me.

these tickets on the super saver are nonrefundable.

I don't think there's anything for you to worry about. They're just great fares in restricted coach, so you're unlikely to be eligible for any sort of upgrade.

united flights have been dropping.
my route is ord to mco.
what started out at $260 is now $164 rt.

wouldn't be surprised if UA drops more.

of course, it is all subjective from your starting point.

itasoftware.com - doesn't sell tickets at all, just advises you of the fares. I have the app... and yes, Las Vegas was a lot higher a few days ago, too .

You can put the reservation on a 24-hour hold on American to lock-in the price. (It's actually until 11:59 p.m. the following day.) Even though the web site says fares aren't guaranteed until purchased, they've always been the same price the next day when I've been ready to buy - after I had time to think about my purchase.
