Hey Christy! It's so much fun when we can go from one TR to the next!! I feel like you have had continuous PTRs and TRs for so long! Lukcy girl! I, on the other han, am just milking my last TR by updating with random life stuff, even though I've long since been done writing about my trip! I can't bear to give up my TR until I have started another PTR!

Our Dates: July 19 to 29 2011

Resort: Animal Kingdom Lodge - Arusha Savannah View

Cast: My mom, a veteran Disney lover, who loves shopping in WDW.


And Me, 27, high school art teacher. I visited the WDW resort at age 2 for the first time. And I've been hooked every since.

I would also like to take this opportunity to say........... Happy Birthday Walt!!!!!! I love you so much! Thank you for everything!

I'm here! I hope you love AKL - we do! It's such a peaceful and calming and beautiful resort. I think it's perfect for hot July - the darkness of it is so soothing when it's scorching hot out!

What do you mean "the darkness". There's a lot of shaded spots outside?

What do you mean "the darkness". There's a lot of shaded spots outside?

I just mean the darker, cooler colors of the resort, versus the beachy/bright colors of the majority of the other resorts. I don't recall a ton of shade outside, though there is some. But I just am referring to the overall feel of the resort, kinda like the WL too if you've stayed there. It's a great thing and sooooo calming and beautiful!

The desired ADRs

So the places we'd like to eat at are:

Le Cellier-early dinner
Via Napoli- maybe a lunch
Toni's - lunch
The Plaza- maybe a late lunch
Donald's breakfast
Crystal Palace- Breakfast

Animal Kingdom Lodge sounds great! You've never stayed there before, right? Are you booked??

Restaurant choices look good! Definitely try to get Crystal Palace breakfast! We love that meal.

Yup, just us girls. The boys (my dad and Timon) are staying home and waiting for us.

Never stayed there. I'm excited. I'm in "love" with giraffes and zebras.

Our ADR date is Jan 20. I'm so excited.

Yup, we're booked!

My stomach is literally growling looking at that list! I planned to review my own plans/ADRs for our trip, but I don't know if my stomach will be able to handle thinking about all that yummy food. We have a Plaza lunch scheduled - I'm looking forward to their fries and ice cream!
