This one is pretty much for the locals....sorry vacationing and Disney folk. Though I recommend everyone take a day and check it out

Orange County Regional History Center is following up on the hugely successful "Serious Art of Make Believe" that they did last year. They teamed up with Universal to bring the design process to life in museum form.
This year they're doing it again and instead of just focusing on the design process they're doing all the backstage stuff. From planning, to designing and auditioning, and execution. Coolest part is that they will change the exhibit throughout the year to reflect the current events happening. First is Mardi Gras, then comes Cinematic Spectacular, then HHN(A personal fave) and finally Holidays. It goes until January next year.

Here's some pictures and a video tour with TJ Mannarino

Coolest thing is the history of the place. They bought the land, built it up and watched it transform around them. There's looks at old attractions, construction. Tons of cool stuff. Highly recommend going if you can.

Thanks for sharing...that definitely requires a visit. :thumbsup2

The Warner Bros. cartoons exhibit looks interesting too. I'll have to see that next year.
:teeth:

I know you're a huge HHN fan...the stuff they have from HHN will knock your socks off.

That sounds really good........my DH and DS woud like that too :thumbsup2

Because of the traffic downtown during the week, I'll plan on a Sunday visit.
