The Big gives are so cool! I love seeing all the pressies the kids get. Those outfits the givers make are amazing

Thank you all for all of your wonderful replies to our big gives. We have been so blessed! When we were foster parents we were exposed to the worst behaviors of people and how they treat children. Now we have seen the exact opposite - the love people truely have for children. You all have renewed our faith in the goodness of people. Thank you all for being such a huge part of our lives! This has been an experience that will stay with us for the rest of our lives.

I love seeing Lhea's pretty smile as she opens the packages. She's so cute. The twin Cindy dresses are so adorable!! And wow that scrapbook looks so big next to Lhea.

Lhea really progressed a lot during swim lessons. At first she was scared to death and cried. Then she relaxed a little as long as we sat by the pool with our feet in. Next we were able to just sit beside the pool. But by the end we were able to sit about 4 feet away in the chairs with the other parents. Lhea finally started enjoying them. She didn't learn how to swim unassisted but did learn some things.
She learned that swimming can be fun even if mommy isn't in the pool with her.

She learned how to move her hands and her feet

And they even taught her how to float on her back

Tonight was her last lesson and she got a certificate

I am so proud of her!

Today we got a big give just for Bri!
This one is from purple ears

She got an adorable pink minnie mouse shirt. Bri absolutely loved the little bow on the minnie head. How cute!

The Grubaugh family sent us a box of goodies. (one of the kids ran off with the note that came with it so I don't have the dis name). It had necklaces, pencils, cards, stickers rings and a harmonica. The kids divided them up among themselves.
Lhea picked these to be hers.

And Alex claimed the harmonica before the girls could even see what it was

Also in this box was a special gift for Gracie .... and she "is in heaven" tonight

We got another big give from Wishin' on a star.
They were so special because her little princess Catherine made the name pages to go with them. The kids LOVED the picture of your kids with Minnie and Donald on the note too!

The kids got sooo much! There were pens, playpacks, stickers, glow bracelets, pencils, crayons, markers, books, journals, hair bows, dominos, silly putty! I'm sure I left something out. Check it out. WOW!

What great Big Gives, the kids all looks SO happy. Beyond getting something so great and special, it just gets to me seeing how happy all of our kids get. For once, something is about them and for them, that doesn't relate to Drs or hospitals, tests and procedures.
