thanks for the update, know how busy you are on your vaca!!!:lmao:

Tim, I can't Believe:
1) I havent CONGRATULATED you and Melody on the AWESOME news about your baby boy. :yay::dance3::yay:
2) That you left before I could say goodbye. :guilty:
3) That you are actually updating on your vacation! (Just saw you posted on Crissy's TR...left you a tiny note).
4) That you are such an amazing photographer...I LOVE those pics (and you need to teach me how to post video...when you get back). :worship:

As I read this last update I got all choked up and started to tear up thinking all of your WISHES are coming true! :goodvibes Juliana's scans are clear, PRAISE GOD! :woohoo: You have a new Baby Boy to plan for! :yay: You are on Vacation with your two best girls! princess:princess: And your TR is almost done!!! :lmao::rotfl::rotfl2: (Okay, getting too mushy, had to lighten things up)! :rotfl2:

I hope you are having an amazing time!!! :flower3:

Funny how that smoke from Wishes ALWAYS bothers the DISDad's eyes, huh!? You'd think they would come up with a cure for this- but nah.... happens every time.

Great update, Tim. I'm amazed you are still updating while there! :worship:

What am I supposed to do when Fox News is on 24/7 here? :happytv: :lmao::lmao:

Awww... Max is a cutie!

Wow... I heard the rain was really bad! I have my FIL check our house and everything was ok! Thank goodness!

We are heading to the beach tomorrow!!!:banana:

Yeah, Fox News...no. Or any news for that matter! Once I'm immersed in the Disney bubble, I don't want news reports. The closest I can come is the Weather Channel...and Stacy, of course, who enthralled Max while we were there. We managed to get a lot of reading done, actually. Although I might be tempted to bring the computer next time so Max could watch the occasional DVD, say on the plane. Or at least that will be my "excuse!" :rotfl2:

Glad to hear that your house is OK. Ours...not so much! Pool party in our basement! :lmao: And so the sump pump is fully operational!

Enjoy the beach tomorrow! Why did I ever have to come home?? :rotfl2:

So i have yet to begin this TR so I'll have to save my comments on the last hundred and something pages for later... Just wanted to stop by and say hey!

I usually don't take pics of buffet food... my plate is too messy.
Yeah, I know what you mean... you can only see the top layer of food in a picture anyway. :confused3

The space around us was shrinking by the second. I texted Barry and told him he had to get his butt back here.... QUICKLY!
If I recall from Barry's TR, weren't his kids pirate: loaded down with swords??? I'd think a few whacks to the knees might help defend the territory.:rotfl2:

Once our ride was over the CM told everyone they could ride again if they wanted. We stayed on for a second ride and Juliana was able to switch her horse to Cinderella's! She was extremely happy!
:woohoo::banana:

That was very nice of Bambi to hold your spot for Wishes. I'm glad you got an opportunity to hit some rides up and see Wishes your last night there. I almost forgot about the singing story... I'm pretty sure I laughed out loud at work when I read Barry's post. :lmao: Once again, another great post, and I wish I could have been there to meet up with all the DIS Dads.

I hope your trip is going well and I look forward to reading about it when you get back.:thumbsup2

First off, I truly hope that you aren't affected by the flooding that is happening in CT and a majority of the NE. Mother Nature has really given this area all it can handle. I will pray for sunshine, even though forecasters said more rain was coming.:scared1:

I love the feeling you get when you're standing in the hub and the lights go down and the music comes up. Absolute heaven.:cloud9: I remember the post from FreezinRafiki and it cracked me up the last time.:lmao: His comments about you, of course. Not about your little angel.

I am glad you posted about The Crystal Palace. DH and I have an ADR there the first night of our April trip. He was kind of meh about eating there, but I think they have a good offering, so I'm glad you approve. All the pics with the characters are great! Too bad Tigger had to move so quickly. But you know, being a Tigger fan, I think he probably just had so much energy that he had to keep bouncin'.:goodvibes

There you have it! All the CP characters! Before I move on, we had an enjoyable meal. I remember eating a ton of peel & eat shrimp and mussels. I was even able to force in some dessert. I usually don't take pics of buffet food... my plate is too messy.
You know the worst thing about buffets? They don't give you big enough plates. So you can't pile as much food on it, and you have to keep getting up to go back. That's way too much exercise and defeats the entire purpose of the buffet!

We went outside and it was dark... and there was only a few minutes till the castle lighting!!! We walked towards the Walt statue and guess who I saw there? Barry's wife Bambi. She had a whole area staked out and was hanging out waiting for the show to start. As we were talking to Bambi, a whole Brazilian tour group comes up behind us and they keep inching closer and closer and closer. Now don't get me wrong, Barry's wife is a wonderful lady, but she wasn't taking too kindly to being bumped into (neither were we) and all the chanting. The space around us was shrinking by the second. I texted Barry and told him he had to get his butt back here.... QUICKLY!
I did leave her in a pretty unenviable position - having to defend so much area from foreign invaders. She did great work, though! And she kept it respectful. No one had to call embassies or escalate anything past the diplomatic stage. :thumbsup2
A few minutes later, Barry showed up and we got to talk for a few minutes before the lighting of the castle.
:wave2:

All Juliana wanted was to ride on Cinderella's horse but there was someone already on it.
Boooooo

We stayed on for a second ride and Juliana was able to switch her horse to Cinderella's! She was extremely happy!
Yaaaaay!

There were a few other DIS Dads that were planning on meeting to see Wishes with. Christian (chillcoupons), & Carl (DisneyDadC) found us and we got to meet their wonderful families too. I gave some glow sticks to all the kids... and yes, Barry is a kid. Not only is he a kid, he looks like a raccoon in headlights. LOL
I like shiny things. But I like things that glow even better!

After the show we talked for a little while while the crowds were making their way out. We would have loved to stay longer but the girls were cold and we had a long day. It was really great meeting all these Dads and their families. We said our good byes and headed out of Magic Kingdom.
I hear you on that. We weren't far behind you. All 3 of our kids were zonked out in strollers and covered in 3 or 4 layers!

Barry was kidding, of course he liked my singing! LOLOLOL
Totally kidding. Anyone that sings along with their children goes down in my book as having a perfect voice!

I don't even sing in the shower... I am a little embarrassed that he actually heard me. :headache:
Don't be. See above comment. :goodvibes

If I recall from Barry's TR, weren't his kids pirate: loaded down with swords??? I'd think a few whacks to the knees might help defend the territory.:rotfl2:
Yes, unfortunately the were with me in Fantasyland. And it would probably look a bit odd if she pulled out two plastic swords and started swinging away at the invading armies. Totally cool to me, of course, but probably a little odd to Disney Security. :confused3
It was cool to have that many guys & families there at the same time. Stay tuned to my TR - I have a picture of Madison & Juliana.

You got some great pictures of the castle. My daughter wants to see it dressed up in the ice again. Its funny how quick their moods change. Glad to see she got to ride on cinderella's horse.:cool1:

Wow - Congratulations! Such great news - a surprise trip and a baby boy on his way. I'm enjoying your report. Just got a bit behind, but for good reason... we were on our trip:cool1:

Wowsers that vid of the castle is Fab. It's so pretty with the lights on it!
I'm luvin the fact the DIS Dad's glow sticks are green, white and orange like the irish flag :)

Hey you got some really great shots of the fireworks while balancing Ana! I love the castle with the icicles. I sometimes wish they would leave it on all the time because its so much prettier.
I think I agree... they should leave those lights on all the time! It looks so cool with them on!

LOL, ok so when you get back from your trip I'd love to hear why you call Barry your nemesis. I've been on his TR and he seems so friendly.
Haven't you ever heard, never judge a book by its cover? :lmao::lmao:

That pic of Ana on the horse eyeing Cindy's horse is too cute and so funny. I'm so glad she was able to get on her horse.
Me too, or we might of had a crabby pants on our hands for the rest of the evening. ;)

Love all the new photos!!! we love wishes too!
Thank you!

happy Ana got to ride "her" horse !!!
:rotfl2:

thanks for the update, know how busy you are on your vaca!!!:lmao:
No problem! :goodvibes

Tim, I can't Believe:

2) That you left before I could say goodbye. :guilty:
Don't worry about it. ;)
3) That you are actually updating on your vacation! (Just saw you posted on Crissy's TR...left you a tiny note).
Yea, I'm nuts. :lmao:
4) That you are such an amazing photographer...I LOVE those pics (and you need to teach me how to post video...when you get back). :worship:
Thank you and I will! :goodvibes

There has been some great things happening to us!

Well, the relaxing part of the trip is over... we are heading to WDW tomorrow!

Funny how that smoke from Wishes ALWAYS bothers the DISDad's eyes, huh!? You'd think they would come up with a cure for this- but nah.... happens every time.
Is always that south wind that gets us.. :rolleyes1

Great update, Tim. I'm amazed you are still updating while there! :worship:
LOL thanks!

I hadn't had a chance to catch up on your TR in awhile, and wow what amazing news for you guys!

Congrats on the new addition to your family, you all must be so excited.

How awesome that you were able to plan another trip and I hope you guys are having an awesome time:goodvibes

Considering we aren't in Disney... I can take the news. But Fox News is on from 8am till we goto bed. :scared1:

Yes, bring the computer. ::yes::

Glad to hear that your house is OK. Ours...not so much! Pool party in our basement! :lmao: And so the sump pump is fully operational!
Oh no! I hope you are getting all that water pumped out! If it is still there when we get back, invite us over to go swimming! :lmao:

Enjoy the beach tomorrow! Why did I ever have to come home?? :rotfl2:
Want me to bring home some classifieds for you? :confused3

So i have yet to begin this TR so I'll have to save my comments on the last hundred and something pages for later... Just wanted to stop by and say hey!
:welcome: Lauren!!! :welcome:

I haven't seen you around for a while! :goodvibes

Yeah, I know what you mean... you can only see the top layer of food in a picture anyway. :confused3
My plate really doesn't look too appetizing at buffets. :sad2:

If I recall from Barry's TR, weren't his kids pirate: loaded down with swords??? I'd think a few whacks to the knees might help defend the territory.:rotfl2:

Bambi was holding her own! :lmao:

The Dis Dads meet was really great. It was really cool to be standing at the Walt statue watching Wishes with all of them! :thumbsup2

I hope your trip is going well and I look forward to reading about it when you get back.:thumbsup2
So far, so good! :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Our house is fine thank goodness.. but they are calling for more heavy rain at the end of the week. :scared1:

I love the feeling you get when you're standing in the hub and the lights go down and the music comes up. Absolute heaven.:cloud9:
Yes. Yes it is heaven! :goodvibes

I remember the post from FreezinRafiki and it cracked me up the last time.:lmao: His comments about you, of course. Not about your little angel.
Yea, he thinks he is funny. Hi Barry! :rotfl2:

The food has always been good when we have eaten there for breakfast and dinner. Plus you don't have to leave MK to get it! :goodvibes

You know the worst thing about buffets? They don't give you big enough plates. So you can't pile as much food on it, and you have to keep getting up to go back. That's way too much exercise and defeats the entire purpose of the buffet!
LOL The plates are small. We ate at Golden Corral last night. They give you dessert plates for your food. popcorn::

I did leave her in a pretty unenviable position - having to defend so much area from foreign invaders. She did great work, though! And she kept it respectful. No one had to call embassies or escalate anything past the diplomatic stage. :thumbsup2
She did do quite well. I thought she was going to lose it though. :hippie:

I like shiny things. But I like things that glow even better!
Good to know.

I hear you on that. We weren't far behind you. All 3 of our kids were zonked out in strollers and covered in 3 or 4 layers!
Man, it was freezing. Who knew 50 and wind could feel so cold? :confused3

Totally kidding. Anyone that sings along with their children goes down in my book as having a perfect voice!
Oh great! Now you say this. :sad2:

Yes, unfortunately the were with me in Fantasyland. And it would probably look a bit odd if she pulled out two plastic swords and started swinging away at the invading armies. Totally cool to me, of course, but probably a little odd to Disney Security. :confused3

I can't wait to see the picture! :surfweb:

Aren't you tired??!! Go to bed so you can make RD tomorrow! :rotfl:

You got some great pictures of the castle. My daughter wants to see it dressed up in the ice again. Its funny how quick their moods change. Glad to see she got to ride on cinderella's horse.:cool1:
Thank you!

I'm with your DD, I want to see it in ice again too! :santa:

Wow - Congratulations! Such great news - a surprise trip and a baby boy on his way. I'm enjoying your report. Just got a bit behind, but for good reason... we were on our trip:cool1:
Thank you!

You had good reason! Hope you had a MAGICAL trip! :goodvibes

Wowsers that vid of the castle is Fab. It's so pretty with the lights on it!
I'm luvin the fact the DIS Dad's glow sticks are green, white and orange like the irish flag :)
I should of taken the vid with my good camera, but it came out ok, and it gets the point across.

I hadn't had a chance to catch up on your TR in awhile, and wow what amazing news for you guys!
Thank you!

Congrats on the new addition to your family, you all must be so excited.
It is exciting and SCARY!!! :lmao::lmao:

How awesome that you were able to plan another trip and I hope you guys are having an awesome time:goodvibes
We had a great day.. even have a little sunburn. We drive to WDW tomorrow. :cool1:

LOLOL.....

We aren't leaving here till noon. We have to check in tomorrow and we have a dinner ADR. (I'm not telling where :sad2:)

I already know where anyways..... I'm 67.5% sure it's Raglan Road. :snooty:

Considering we aren't in Disney... I can take the news. But Fox News is on from 8am till we goto bed. :scared1:

Yes, bring the computer. ::yes::

Oh no! I hope you are getting all that water pumped out! If it is still there when we get back, invite us over to go swimming! :lmao:

Want me to bring home some classifieds for you? :confused3

Yeah, I just realized that you aren't at Disney yet and then it occurred to me why you have no control over the t.v. So sorry. :rotfl2:

We do have a pump hooked up and the water is gone...for now! :scared1: Actually, we had the same problem last year, so we're becoming experts...but the thought of swimming the basement...just makes me :rotfl:

Yeah, and I'd consider moving, if it weren't for the fact that teacher pay down there is apparently horrendous, particularly compared to CT. :sad2: Plus, I teach history and we're not in high demand, anywhere. Oh well...guess I'll have to wait another thirty some years until I can retire down there!

Enjoy every last second at Disney, please! I know you'll take lots of pictures and I can't wait to hear all about it when you guys get back! Although the live updates are great, too!

And have fun with Brook and her family, as well. :goodvibes
