CONGRATS!!!! EXCITING NEWS!!! Remember when I said I was a cancer survivor? guess what else? my bday is also this month can you believe it? Mine is on the 18th but yet there will be a 30 yr gap

See, now that makes sense because it's their heritage.

Um, DH has absolutely zero Greek relatives so maybe that's why I went like this when he suggested it! If he was Greek, I'd have considered it, especially if it was a family name.

LOL! I totally understand. It seems more normal of a name now, since I have known him for so many years, but when I first met him..I was like????? ??? Who would name their kid that? Then people said, well he is Greek.! We were good friends and he was actually my prom date too.

Congrats! I'm so happy for all of you. I really think it's fate that Mel's due date is the same day as Ana's last chemo. Amy was supposed to be born on August 13th, but liked the 12th better.
Just think now in TWO days you get to buy blue disney clothes. THAT'S NICE!

Thursday morning came with 2 alarms going off at 7:15am. It would of been very easy to just shut off the alarms, roll over, and go back to sleep.... but you really didn't think we did that. Do ya?

Our itinerary for the day included breakfast at Chef Mickey's, Epcot, and MVMCP. I wanted to be out of the house by 8am for our 9:10 ADR. That would give us enough time to park at the TTA and take the monorail over to the Contemporary.

We usually try to have our park bags packed the night before but we were just so beat from traveling that we didn't have anything ready. As we are packing 3 separate park bags, Juliana is asking us to go to the playground and she wasn't taking no for an answer. Once we were mostly packed I brought her to the playground for a few minutes.

We finally got on the road at 8:35- a little later than I would have liked. GKTW is only about 10 miles from Disney, but it takes a solid 25 minutes. Before we knew it we were seeing this.

I'm not sure if there is any sign in Disney that is more exciting than this.... especially when arriving for the first time.

My plan of parking at the TTA had to be changed since we were pulling under this at 8:57am.

We pulled up to the Contemporary, parked, and hurried our way inside.

I guess the girls didn't want to wait for me while I was taking a picture of the wreath. LOL

We couldn't wait for the elevator, so on to the escalator. Before we knew it we saw this:

We checked in at 9:10!!!!! We were on time.. somehow!

We got our picture taken with the infamous Mickey plate, then it was off to our table.

We were seated and it was going to be a little while before any characters showed up so we grabbed round one of breakfast.

You know... Melody still makes fun of me taking pictures of my food. I tell her it is very important to get these pictures. She knows it is for my DIS friends.

It wasn't long before we started to get a few visitors. Donald was the first one to stop by.

We asked our professional photographer, Juliana, to take our picture with Donald.

A little blurry, but not too bad!

Soon after seeing Donald, it was time to 'Put your napkin in the air, and wave it like you just don't care!

Donald even came back and did a little dancing with Ana.

The characters starting coming quickly now...

I thought it was cool to have the Mickey 'Make a Wish' bubble behind us.

One of our favorites- Pluto!

Then we got to see the mouse himself... Mickey!

We had a great breakfast. The waffles were great, the eggs were great, come to think of it everything was great..... except for the potatoes with some kind of turkey sausage in them. Those I could of done without. Oh well, you live and learn!

We payed our waitress and she suggested we grab a piece of fruit for the road. Juliana took a banana to go.

We went to check out the gift shop and it was really hard to walk out of there with only a few souvenirs- all the Christmas shirts, hats, dolls, ornaments were calling Melody's name (ok, and my name too!)

We left without spending too much money and got to see the awesome gingerbread house and gingerbread Christmas tree. I'm sure all the DIS DADs will love this theme!!!!

Man, that's a lot of ingredients!

We were already behind schedule, so we said good-bye to the Contemporary and headed over to the MK parking lot. We were going to take the monorail from the TTA since we would be coming back to MK that evening for MVMCP.



Up next... Epcot, bathrooms, a first, and a few firsts!!!!!

Tim!!!!! Congratulations!!!! It's so goofy how excited I am for you guys, as if I actually "knew" you! I guess when you share a wish trip experience together, you bond.

I hope Mel continues to feel well, and can't wait to "meet" your little boy! If he's a few days late he could share a bday with the triplets, August 18th!

And, lucky you guys getting to go back to Disney this weekend!!! Yippee! Have a fantastic time!!!

Hey Tim! Trying to catch up on everyone's TRs.
